We are a Community based Charitable Association of the Tamils in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom
Tamil union of Hertfordshire was formed in 1983 following the ethnic violence in Sri Lanka that resulted in horrendous loss of Tamil lives and displaced many others to countries around the world. The association supports those affected by the violence and the war that followed, by raising funds through events like annual barbeques, food festival, religious celebrations, cultural shows, and help the Tamils of Sri Lanka to rebuild their lives. We are the parent body of the Herts Tamil School Trust teaching Tamil language and cultural interests such as music, dancing and musical instruments.
